Why would it be so expensive? I get if something's not in production anymore, and if it's in good condition, but.. Tool's a popular band.. I figure they'd be making plenty of their RECORDS..


The only really rare one is Aenima. For a few reasons.

They pressed a lot fewer than other albums and as far as I know never repressed it. It's also a very popular album to counterfeit so the price of legit copies has steadily gone up.

I usually say "Albums" unless its an EP or single, and then I say what it is. Anyone who knows me well enough to care about what i'm buying probably knows its vinyl unless i say CD :)


Me too!

Though I do find it somewhat amusing that "album" was actually carryover terminology from the 78rpm days when multiple 10in were packaged together in a hardcover book-style which constituted the entire recording.
