Here you go;

Not at my systems peak, but the nicest photo I have of it I suppose. I didn't have the analogue rig at the time.

After Shunyata V-ray, Parasound JC-1's and the Cambridge 840C player but before the sound panels and vinyl rig. And yes that is the tip of a 300lb rubberband ball to the left of the picture! (therapy) Lol

Headphone rig shots to come!

I don't know man, I think you need some more amp on them Totems

It's the first watt that really matters, that being said there's something to be said concerning Headroom. I'm a believer in that you can never have to much power.

The analogy that I use is:

You have two Cars; A 130 HP VW Diesel (Top speed about 90 mph) and a 500 HP Mercedes Top Speed (155 Governed). Both Cars can cruise at 70 MPH all day with no issues whatsoever. Now try accelerating 50 mph to 70 mph, which is going to be more effortless and responsive? I actually think that this is an amazingly apt analogy.

I'd imagine that those JC1's hardly ever leave Pure Class "A" operation (25 Watts with the JC1's).

I really like the Totems. I'm likely going to be forced to significantly downsize my system soon and something like the Totems or perhaps ProAcs would be very high on my list.

Like McIntosh much? Nice stuff, I've always loved the Smoked Glass and big blue meters.

Picked up an Alphason HR100S tonearm for my tri-motor Voyd turntable. It's been rewired with Kondo Silver wire by Audio Origami. The arm suits the deck and cartridge really well IMO.

(Said like Homer Simpson) Mmmmm, more amp on the Totems... Lol

Those amps own the Totems. And Yikes is right, the first 28 watts sound really good on a custom burned in and rebiased set of JC-1's. You wouldn't believe how a pair of Totems can sound. Now if I could just find the headphone equivalent I'd be all set!

My son is jealous of the rubberband ball, but I'll take the rest.

Well then check these baby's out! Lol

The one on the left is masking tape and the shiny one in front is saran wrap. The back two are 150lbs and 300lbs respectively.

and here's the big one next to a baseball for scale :)
