    Hmmmmm... Harbeth 30's and the Ayre Integrated work exceptionally well together. That's High End sound.

    I believe that High-End should be replaced by "High-Performance"

    Two rigs in one [IMG]

    Grundig CD9000 modded ->Custom made TDA1541A / ECC83 & ECC88 output DAC -> Custom made ECC88/JFET Amp -> SAP Trio

    or

    Grundig CD9000 modded ->Custom made TDA1541A / ECC83 & ECC88 output DAC -> Audio Matiere Paraphrase preamp -> Mccormack DNA-1 Deluxe Rev B -> Apogee Centaurus Minor

    Interconnects and speaker cables are:

    DNM
    Omega Micro
    Cardas
    Hirakava

    How many TDA1541A's in the DAC? [IMG]

    Only one, the idea here is a simple filter-less NOS DAC with class A tube output stage. It's TDA1541A S1 actually. There is also a Luxman AS-44 switch so I don't have to swap cables.

    Zuerst,

    That's hi-end enough to last anyone 6~10 years [IMG] . . . seems like you put a lot of thought into the look and layout.

    Your ACs look really, really nice and they sound very nice as well. Their finish is spectacular and, quite often, difficult to photograph.

    Cheers,
    Garry

    Yes. It's beautiful. Minimalism is classy.

    Psychologically, I think it sounds better, too.

    An image quoted three times on the page it was posted? Wow.

    Getting me excited for new pictures and then dashing those hopes.
