Duggeh, the perfect woman for you is a woman who would never ask you to trade your Stax gear.

Every thing else, is just a poor substitute.

She was looking over your shoulder when you wrote this wasn't she?

Not to rub it in...I have my perfect woman in ALL regards and she lets me do what I want with audio.

You gotta love a woman that has never once complained in 14 years even when the speakers in the living room reach 6' 9" and 500lbs, about having a large pair of Apogees in the bedroom, or about having a front hall that looks like a box warehouse because this moron can't figure out which headphone gear he likes without trying it all first. She also one that doesn't mind being called in for second opinions on listening comparisons.

Great women are few and far between, especially ones that don't make you change your life.

Did I forget to mention that she is a race car driver (Formula Mazda) and has won 3 of her last 4 races?

I think I won the wife jackpot.

Quite possible. But which relationship will last longer and which will keep the promises made at the beginning of the purchase. I'd go with the R-10's or the Stax rig
