^ the fact that they both represent their sound signature AND the characters are actually wearing them is very fitting :p. Although I'd say DT880 on the left just because it's not fair to the T1 to say it's in the same league as the HD650 IMO.

Just because I don't like/have HD800 so there's HD650. Illustrated by a friend who examined the cans throughly for 4 hrs.

This means you need to Eq, or look for an other headphone with a frequency balance that suits better your taste. . Unless you are looking  for head crushing bass. I  consider that when I have to pump up the volume  so that music begin enjoyable, then there's something wrong in the frequency balance.
