I just started using the SpinFit CP800. There tight but once on work great.
Right now waiting on a balanced 4.4 cable for the 232. Kinda still considering upgrading at some point.
Maybe something like the moondrop b3 dusk or dune sa6.

Where are you buying 4.4 cable from?

Westone star tips made bass muddy for me. Did try many and found Final Audio E tips are best replacement, even with it PFE232 loose sparking highend.

Difficult to find an alternate for stock tips.

I've been debating on doing this. What was required to do the modification. I'm assuming you had to send in a cable?

Yes they need to have a original for the cable for the earbud connection. As long as the part of cable that connects to earbuds are good rest of cable doesn’t matter. The 232 don’t have the resistor in the cord like the other Phonaks model. You then select the quality grade of cable and what kinda connection you like. I went with 4.4 balanced. I have other cable for the 232 and wanted one to use this with the w2 and iPhone.

Thanks for the information. Definitely an option for me right now.

I recently received the custom cable I ordered from vesperaudio and I’m really impressed by it. The cable quality itself is a huge improved over original and it looks great! Of course the main thing it comes down to is the sound quality. Before this I never really bought into the whole sound quality of a cable matters all that much. Basically I just wanted a better cable since the originals where on there last leg.
This cable has changed my mind, by going to a balanced cable with the l&p w2 has bought new life to the phonak 232. This setup is the best the phonaks have ever sounded for me. Honestly I was a little bit worry about putting money into an older iem. With the improved sound quality and the great comfort of the Phonak 232 I couldn’t be more happier.
Thanks @Vesperaudio for making them. I highly recommend checking them out If looking to get some custom work done.

Very nice… just wondering… does the 232 use the same resistor setup in the cable as the 1xx models?

I asked vesperaudio same question and was told no to the resistor on the 232.

How many faithful years did 112 serve you?
Mine still going fine, but I used it lot less compared to 232

very surprised to know driver's are available, can you please pass on the link.
