My smallish head is great. Lets me listen to most headphones for hours, except for a few that were too big even at their shortest setting. The Audeze LCD-X is the heaviest of my headphones but with the latest headstrap is fine

@Pharmaboy, no worries at all, I wrote about my past experiences and enjoyment of the A800, and that is for me how things went. saying that, I did not have as much listening time with the X2 so who knows with greater acclimation to the X2 what I would have thought about the comparison with the A800. I would be interested to hear the A800 now, it has been a while. I also used some mild equalization to tune the A800 a little for me. I really did find the A800 quite comfortable. Even though I don't tend to have long listening sessions, the A800s were quite a proper fit for me so clearly the ergonomic design took head shape and size like I have into account. I'm pretty sure I could wear them for a solid hour anyway, likely more, but that would never happen.
I just ultimately responded to signature of the A800 more, style wise I liked both looks, but the bold art deco like design of the A800 really struck a chord with me. I remember seeing some really well done photographs of the then soon to be released A800, H900M, and H500BT at an audio industry showcase and the designs were just so intriguing I couldn't stop thinking about them. I really was that struck by the designs. Glad that you gave the A800 a try, people have different preferences and tolerances. Talking about the hobby would get a little mundane if we all liked everything equally.

I'd said it before and I'll probably say it again but for me the A800 still get usage while the X2's doesn't.....

That's what the pics look like. I read something somewhere, that said the balanced cable uses mmcx? Doesn't make sense. Maybe they were intoxicated.Found this on youtube, looks like maybe 2.5 connectors.

Im looking forward to these i got the X2's and i hope X3's will be just as comfortable and fun to listen to.
I read this article: https://www.whathifi.com/news/philips-fidelio-x3-headphones-aim-to-deliver-style-and-sound
That says "The Philips Fidelio X3 headphones are set for release in the early summer for €349." in the bottom. No idea where this info is from though.
I also see Philips has updated their own site with information about the X3''s.

They have some specs there aswell.

Due to covid-19 I doubt it will be released this summer. I'm so looking forward to it but many of the products I've been waiting for have been delayed.

I don't get that, Everybody is at home, it is exactly the right time to release products. People bored out of their mind, something new and shiny is always welcome.

Many people have lost their jobs or source of income and can barely afford to pay rent or buy food. Not the time to promote a new piece of audio gear.

People buying that new piece of audio gear may actually help keep someone’s job in said audio gear companyMany people have lost their jobs or source of income and can barely afford to pay rent or buy food. Not the time to promote a new piece of audio gear.
