Just ordered some of these bad boys instead of the 400i.

If anyone is interested amazon uk have them, but they seem to be going quick as a couple disappeared in the time it took me to order them. I don't think they actually have them yet given the delivery options I was given.

Amazon US shows them "in-stock" with next day delivery.

Mine are in Phoenix, AZ, due tomorrow (rubs hands together).

They were generally well received at CanJam. I don't expect them to last long.

Are these bright, dark, laid back or neutral? Do the highs sparkle and are they well extended with a lot of air and soundstage?

Yeah, Amazon UK has been all over the place with stock today, when I ordered the fastest delivery option was Expedited so no definite date, however they've just updated it again to say you can have them by April 4, so I guess they have a limited number in now?

Edit: Spoke too soon April 4 option gone now.

Warm/neutral, not dark nor bright. A bit laid back I guess, but not too much. They still pack quite some punch. Highs not sparkling, they extend well, good soundstage.

"On the fun side of neutral" is what I'd use to describe them

Quite a unique sound signature indeed.

The Porta Pros have no heights though.
