People keep blindly suggesting the Vmoda, while its been known to vary on its resistance, sometimes approaching the X1 cable's high resistance.

I would suggest something known to be consistently low resistance, like the Media bridge cables.

i have the v-moda so i am not blindly recommending it, but thanks for your insight.  I have had no issues with mine.

Simply saying that while some have good vmoda cabkes, there have also been vmoda cables with a really high impedance, like the stock X1 cable, which defeats the very reason people are replacing the cable. This is why i say to go with cables known to not vary like the vmoda cables.

I've been using the Nuforce 1.5M black 3.5mm/1/8 cable. Flexible, durable and quite pretty IMO.
Not the cheapest, but they're pretty good - https://www.nuforce.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=42:transient-cables&Itemid=1163
I would not recommend their USB cable, however.
