Strange music albums I have listened so far sound fantastic with the X2.
BTW, is the gray ear-pad available to purchase ? I really don't want to miss this.

Not yet that im aware of. The bass pads are though, but only sold with the headphones in the eu amazon.
Did I make a mistake on getting the X1's over the X2. I know the X2 are superior in nearly every way, but I got the X1 for half the price.
I also got the X1, because all my other headphones lack bass & supposedly the X1 have the strongest bass of them all, including the X2.
Dos the X1 really have an advantage over the X2 in that?
Do they sell the stock replacement pads anywhere?
maybe there is no mistake if you got X1 at half price and it is worthed but if you're looking for bass, you should take a closed back cans like bayer COP or ATH M50x
The Beyer COP sounds unpleasing to my ears. Nothing like the X1/X2 in vocal content.

To be honest they dont need an amp, a good dac would be more viable. I run mine from my Note 4 aswell and they sound awesome! The X3 would be more then enough to make them shine.. no need for a magni. Waste of money really.
Does anyone drive their X2 with the FiiO X3 2nd Gen? And if so, do you see a benefit from an amp? Maybe a FiiO E12A, E12 for portability or a Magni 2 for non-portable use. The X3 2nd gen is rate for headphones from 16 to 150 ohms. Well within the range of the X2.
ny thoughts on this would be great. Thanks!
