You didn`t say it but Your constant "bragging" about L2 seems like so. We already understood what is Your preference. Good for You but maybe enough of it?

"Answering" to one user personal preference that isn`t same as yours... seems more like "bashing" of X2 to make Your opinion as superior.

But enough of this. This has turned OT and should stop now. Lets just wait for other user impressions about L2 and X2 differences.

Have you heard X2 or L2 or you just can't handle diferent opinion?

Both of them are excellent choices ... no need to argue ... however, even Philips meant to have the x2's as their heal of the line ...

I always am suspicious about reviewers of magazines who do this job for a living and exist from the advertising.
This said there is a big test ( about 75 headphones in all classes, and all price classes) in the "Stereoplay" magazine, German people here will know this Mag. for sure.
Shocking stuff to say the least for some here. The obvious winners in the top  class are Audeze LCD- XC, and Hifiman HE-560, obvious choices which doesn´t surprise, but now fasten your seatbelts, The 7 other models in test are all equally good with a slightly better result for the Sony MDR-Z7. Surprise of the day however is that the Fidelio X2 is equally good with the Grado  GS1000e, a headphone x3,5 the price of the X2. It takes to long to in on  all the models in this list, but speaking for Europe, the X2 was the least expensive model, but don´t have to hide for the Sennheiser HD700, Audio Technica ATH-A900XLTD, Fostex TH-500 RP, Grado GS1000e  and Kennerton Magister.
Again, this is all relative but it might one left thinking, is it necessary to spend more than 300 Euro ( EU price for the X2) on good or say exellent cans?

It doesn't suprise me one bit. The German magazine Audio rates the Denon AH-D7100 higher than Sennheiser HD800, both Fostex TH-600s and TH-900s and both Denons AH-D5000s and AHD-7000s. They got the same score of 97 points as the Audez LCD3.

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4" (T700 model) and X2 sounds already awesome with this. Cmon 250-300 ohm headphones beat it without an amp adittion to the chain! I 'also' love this FLEXIBILITY of X2.

My X2 is being processed for shipment now, and I should receive it Tuesday.  I'm not quite sure why it didn't ship out yesterday as I placed my order over two weeks ago.  Maybe there was a huge backlog of orders to fill?  Regardless, I'm eagerly anticipating trying it out next week and will provide my impressions when I get a chance to hear it.

EDIT:  X2 has now shipped.  Just have to wait three more days.
