Perun electrostatic headphone impressions

I just got my own pair of Perun 'Quadrun' rock version at early june of 2022. They really rocks! I've compared them to Stax x9000 I own from february.
I was shoked but Perun has much more natural sound signature, deeper and mercury bass and they are has much more reverberations. I've discovered new details at my lovely and famous for me music compositions. And they are easier to drive than x9000 (Now my amp is KGST, sold my Stax T1W).

The website only says “Rock Version” headphones.. are all new Rock Version also Quadrun?

What’s the difference between these and the “Live Sound”?

Which one is better Live or Rock

Comparing with 007 or 009, as I never listen to x9000

I own only 007 now so maybe something compliments of the 007.
I think you can write at site at order form and you will recieve all info and explanations IMHO.

Yup. They’ll explain everything via email.

And all the new Rock ones are Quadrun which is the name of their new 4 electrostatic (2 per ear) driver tech.

Arrived and don't own an amp for them currently. I sold the amp thinking I'd never see them. Need to decide on used Stax amp I picked out and the Woo Wee to use my 300B speaker amp.

One imperfection which I hope can be buffed out. Imperfection seen on back of cup.
This is my 2nd Rock and place enjoyment of presentation within a 1266 TC sound.

The last Rock I owned had a more planar sound not common in other estat units I've tried. Bass goes into sub region after some burn in. Treble is sweet sounding. Very big and holographic stage.

I wonder how this one performs and hope it works when I get an amp.
If not I can look at it. Lol

I couldn't believe how friggen good the perun sounded when playing jazz tracks with standing bass. Unlike any other estat I've heard (not that i've heard many).
I've used the iesl with my perun and that seems to work pretty good thus far.

Do all rocks have 2 drivers on each side or is there a cutoff date when they started adding em?

Congrats and hope you get an energizer soon! How long did it take to receive them from your original shipping notification?

Yesterday I dived into vinyl (facepalm) 1st time with Perun headphones...Later it was unsleepy night))))

2 weeks and DHL took over my shipping. Came in a plastic container

What is their weight?
Supervlight like beats. They look heavy

Always two but new ones have 2 bass drivers. I have the pic but was not allowed to share it. So slender long rectangle shape high drive and next to it big bass driver
