I thought the price to performance ratio was much higher with headphones than with speakers? They look really nice though, $768 isn't really a deal several "trusted" retailers sell them for $750 online

Really depends and the ratio moves around a bit at different rages. Sub $100? I'd give it to headphones, and especially IEM's. Past that and it starts getting iffy

That's what I have experienced in the ~$200 range.  Worth?  Haha
These deal alerts are Satan in disguise.. but maybe, just maybe, I'll never have to upgrade again.

for a pair, where did you find 2 for $750?

They actually can provide a marginal difference, but I think consumer products will perform ~98% the same.  Cheaply designed or built bridges may be fashioned with overly impure materials, which will cause additional heat and performance issues.  Could happen :P

Again I say, eVGA SLI Pro bridges look niceeeeeeeeeee...
