Why don't you just get the MX2000IIB?

The Logitech G800 and the Anker 8000 look good too, though the Logitech is much pricier and the Anker is roughly comparable to the Perixx.

The Perixx MX-2000 isn't on Amazon anymore, so anyone know of rebrands of it that are exactly the same? (Specs, BQ, aesthetics, etc.)

Yeah, the G700
I kinda hate wireless mice though. It's because I use one right now (a cheap Microsoft one), but I went to a friends house with my laptop and mouse. Since I don't usually take the USB receiver out much, I plugged it into the I/O ports on the back. I brought my stuff over and was about to plug in the USB when I realized I didn't have it. So wired, IMO is waaaayyyy better. (And they don't need batteries.)

Let's just say that preparing for that game is a huge reason why I just put together a new PC.

I also shudder to think about how much money I've thrown at Chris Roberts and the rest of Cloud Imperium Games for pledge packages. There's already a Constellation, Super Hornet and Aurora LX in my hangar.

The super hornet is awesome. ATM I'm still debating which ship to get.

Depends on your playstyle.

I was planning on exploring the persistent universe in a Freelancer, but then that hangar module released and highlighted a distinction between different hangar types. I wanted that Deluxe hangar, so I melted the 'Lancer to fund the Constellation while waiting for the Hornet variants to show up. I was hoping for an F7A mil-spec variant, but the F7C-M Super Hornet's second seat won me over even if they would have decided to sell the F7A.

By the way, going by hangar module performance, a GTX 760 can manhandle it on 1920x1200, High detail. Very High detail takes a performance hit without throwing in a second GTX 760, though. Not that I notice much of a quality difference between High and Very High. Bring on the dogfighting module!

Speaking of which, this marks the first time I've run SLI in any capacity, and it works surprisingly better than I thought it would. No noticeable microstuttering or jankiness, just ludicrous GTX Titan-beating framerates.

It won't be staying in SLI, though. One GTX 760 is for me, the other's for my friend's build, after all. Whenever I feel like upgrading graphics cards in a few years, he'll get a shot at my GTX 760 and running SLI for the performance boost...not that he'll need it for a while if he intends on running with his current 1280x1024 monitor.

This makes me feel better.
Although I do imagine performance would be quite different in a big space battle or something.

I should be okay though.im buying an R9 290 as soon as there's 3rd party coolers, it should be able to handle anything at 1080P

Hand picked the parts for a friend's build; For some 1080P gaming on High, will it suffice?
