I just bought some Monster Coppers.
 
Do Coppers benefit much from an amp?
 
If so, how would the PA2V2 do?

Coppers are very sensitive to line noise and hiss.  You want a quiet amp.  I have no knowledge of the PA2V2.  cMoy BB v2.02, iBasso T3, Headstage Arrow, TTVJ slim/hybrid millet are all good bets.

Yes, they want power.  Especially if you want to listen at lower volume levels.  The reviews on the PA2V2 are quite good.  Search out Skylabs portable amp review and see if he has something on it.

I believe the general consensus is that the T3 is a step up.

FWIW I found that my T3 is an outstanding amp for the MTPC. It certainly does improve the sound and while I have no experience with the CMOY, you cannot go wrong with the MTPC+T3 combo IMO
