A want to say a massive Thank you to everyone that helped me with my Bird/Mentor query, I genuinely appreciate it... Sounds like the Bird has won over a lot of hearts with emotional engagement along with the strengths of timbre and vocals.

If I had to pick one (indeed I did), I'd go with Mentor. The reasons: I'm in love with Mentor since first listen. Didn't happen to me with Traillii. At first listen, Traillii's treble was too much from me, even using N6ii Ti (R2R). Only after tips rolling and getting used to it for a few weeks I could live with the treble and enjoy it more. I never had issue with Traillii not being vented though. The other reasons: Mentor is less expensive than Traillii and has CIEM option
Interesting... Don't know if I've heard anyone mention the treble being a bit much on the Bird...

I can be a bit sensitive to treble but I’ve never had any issues with the Traillii.

I had the same issue but at the end, to me the Trailliii is the most authentic IEM.
And treble issues depends on ear tips and cable selection.

The Traillii does not have prominent treble imho. Treble and upper mids are sometimes mixed up. There are a few minor peaks compared to Mentor, eg at 4k. Coming from 64 audio at the time, which typically have quite relaxed upper mids, I did notice that the Traillii was more forward sounding, but never too much for my taste. And to some extent, prominent upper mids are required to bring energy to the presentation. I would say that the Bird does it just right. But tips, fit and personal preferences matter, of course.

Don't worry about it, we all hear things differently. I've been following this thread since before I got Traillii. Trust me you would have bigger chance of finding people's post having concern about Traillii's pressure buildup than about its treble.

I'm glad that most of us have no concerns about Traillii's treble, which actually includes me, at least after having tip rolling and some getting use to (TG334 and U12t were my IEMs before Traillii).

Like I said, I ended up enjoying Traillii's treble more, otherwise I wouldn't have kept it for over a year and have thoughts of re-buying it, having in mind that now I know how to make the already remarkable Traillii even closer to my personal preference.

Hello, I have a question which luxury&precision dap do you recommend for Traillia? I mainly listen to female and male vocals, blues, jazz.
In my opinion, everything here is very simple. LPGT (better Ti) or AK SP3k. It sounds great with each of them. The only question is what you prefer.

Ok, I'll try to explain, sorry for my English. I have a dx320 Max ti and I'm looking for a more warm (analog) sound with more emotion, relaxing.I thought about Sony wm1zm2, P6 pro or Cayin. After reading the review, I can't listen to it

I must say, I do find my Mest's a bit bright in the treble, but like you say, you can try different tips to help with this.

I don't think I've ever experienced an non-vented IEM before but this sounds like a problem for some while others are ok.
