I prefer the lpgt to p6p. But for me UI of the p6p is a total deal-breaker anyway. Looking forward to their next release...

Would you mind sharing how these cables sound in comparison? Was it worth upgrading from stock cable?

Anyone here tried Apple Music Lossless with the bird? Would be quite the interesting combination imo, they have some mastering magic going on making stuff silky.

I do regularly. Both the S1 and W2 dongles sound great with Apple Music now. I didn’t like the W2 before so I am assuming they updated something and it works well now with the new format.

I loved my S1. I keep pulling it out and trying it out again and then switch to the W2. To me, the W2 is just a straight upgrade to the S1. I always prefer the W2 over the S1. So, the S1 hardly gets any listening time anymore.

It wasn’t the case previously with my iPhone. Something must’ve changed in a recent update because now I do feel the W2 is more organic and pleasant sounding than S1.

Interesting. I think several people had problems with the W2 and their iPhone. Hopefully what you are experiencing fixes that problem for others as well.

Am on the jump to order that streamer but such little bummers are rather making me connect my MacBook, iPhone or IPAD to my DACs

For W2 users here, LP is launching a nice leather case very soon. The cool part is that is has built-in magnetic that allows you to attach W2 (with the case) to your phone.

I will share more pics of how this works tomorrow.

I use Tidal Connect to access my Bluesound Node 2i. So, you can use the native Tidal app on your Apple devices to control your music if you have Tidal or Spotify. Not sure if they support other streaming services. I don't like using Airplay because I don't think it is lossless and when I A/B tested it vs DLNA or Tidal connect, it was inferior in sound quality.

Gosh, Apple Music really seems to sound more lush and with some round velvet cover paired with W2 - now listening to songs I previously would have listened to only on M8....
Will need to do more A-B when I have more time especially for metal and difficult recordings like Epica but actually feels like they are listenable now on W2 whereas I mostly switched to M8 for those before...

Glad I'm not the only one who hears it! Metal is sublime. I have tons of recordings with unimaginably bad mastering, suddenly they became listenable.

I have the M8 which I understand isn't the best source but I'm not thinking to change that for now.
I thought of maybe adding a W2 and wondered if that issue with the iphones is still a concern, the part about drawing too much and volume clipping or something.
And, could the W2 work with the M8 just for comparison purposes..?

Pretty sure @tawmizzzz uses his W2 + Traillii from an iPhone most of the time.
