So it was time for me to finally get a TOTL. And my first choice was this over the andro. It's really up there. Very impressed by it.
However how do i know if i got the reborn version or the previous? The stock cable comes in copper without pwaudio signs on it..
Just get the cheapest version you can find. Cables really don't matter.

these IEMs remind me of grado (it's a good thing)
These IEMs do not remind me of Grado (it's a good thing).

The midrange on the oriolus mk2 is absolutely stunning...holy moly! Such detail, lushness, clarity ......damn i need an in ear with Andromeda treble and oriolus midrange haha.... Well the bass of the oriolus is also not what i am looking for the be honest, just too soft.. But these mids are the best that i have heard .. Period

Any human feedback? :) According to the chart it should have the same tonality as MK2 but with much less (if any) treble roll-off.

I listened quickly to Forsteni, MK2 and Mellianus. Headphones connected to HiFiMan HM901 with Balanced AMP. Mellianus are similar as Forsteni. They are not as energetic, like MK2. Mellianus sounds more in detail against Forsteni and MK2. My first impression, Mellianus - significantly improved Forsteni in the direction of higher detail and intelligibility.

I liked Mellianus, very good headphones.

The treble on the graph depend on the landing in the ears. The climbs on the chart are the combined resonance frequencies of the earpiece and the inner space of the ear. When changing the tips or position in the ear, these frequencies will shift. If we mentally average the resonances, forsteni has the highest high-frequency response, then less for Mellianus and even less for MK2.

I need your help. If you are reading this and you have any advice, please let me know.

Because of the short nozzle of Oriolus mk2 I need to find long tips that work great with my ears. Shallow insertion isn't friendly with my ears because I have overbite (single flange tips never seal on my left ear because my lower jaw modifies my cavus/inner concha shape every time I move my mouth).

I'm searching for a double flange, triple flange and foam tips longer than Comply T500.

Thanks. :dt880smile:

Thanks for your recommendation. Do you have them? I read the frequency gets weird with this tips. Bass decreases and highs turns unnatural and aggressive.

Any experience with any of this tips from Mee Audio? How is the size?

I read good things about Yamaha EPH-100 double flanges. Anyone tried them?

Also, I have read many recommend Symbio W. Can any of the owners post pictures of M or L size tips attached to Oriolus?

I have read Symbio N frequency response is more to my liking. Someone knows if the core diameter of this tips (3.8mm) is flexible enough to fit Oriolus? It would be great.

Please, if anyone have other recommendations let me know.

Also try spinfit cp155. Note that some tips changes the sound bit so try and let me know how it goes for you

I only have the Symbio W Small size. When attached to Oriolus Mk2, it is similar length in tips as the Comply small/medium. If you are looking for longer tips, probably not the Symbio.

I am using orilous for almost one and half month now. The bass on orilous is good but quantity is much more than I used to. I also tried spinfit double flange tips. They helped but not much. I liked my flc8s more than oriolus mk2. It is japanese version with PW audio no 5 cable. Thinking of selling it.

Try the aet07 tips from acoustune, gives good seal too. Here's mine with han sound redcore and aet07.MVIMG_20180412_152048_exported_5548356072426664057.jpg
