A day after I purchase my PM3. I see this.

On ear. That's the main thing that turned me away from waiting for the Sine. I have DT1350 and about the max time I can listen to them is two hours because I wear glasses and they pinch my ears against the on-ear headphone cups.

I just pulled the trigger on a Steel Blue PM-3 directly from the Oppo site!

Now, when will the inevitable 'fraud prevention' telephone call come? I really hate the last credit unions I've worked with because they call me over stupid things. "Did you really spend $10 at the bagel shop 5 blocks from your house?"

Nice, steel blue will be sharp looking. If I had had the choice I would have done the same colour choice.

Same here.  On-ears are a no-go for this glasses wearer.

@Soundizer , I too am sensitive to treble and high spikes, and I have no issues with these at all. Im even using the Oppo HA2 with them which as a Sabre DAC which are known for what is called the Sabre Glare and I have no problems.

As I recall from reviews, the HA-2's Sabre implementation was found to have little or none of that.  I haven't had mine long enough to say.

Those are fantastic looking.  Nice choice.

Steel Blue was the only color they didn't have on Amazon, so I figure there are probably quite a few less of them around.

Here is my custom balanced PM3 cable for my Onkyo DP-X1 made by PETEREK. If anybody is looking for custom cable certainly highly recommend his work. He has done a few jobs for me now and has earned my endorsement.

hello disastermouse,

Very very good choice. I am saving up a bit and hope to also buy the same colour. I do nit have an amp but here the oppo ha2 is a really good match. I like neutral sounding headphones without any siblance which is why I narrowed my choice to oppo pm3 and........well that's it.

Keen to know from you how they sound initially and then after burn in time.
