Ok so I listen to hip hop rap on my iPod and I am between two headphones the xb500 and the beats studio. Give me some opinions please!! And yes I thought about the m50 but I'm not getting them. Help? I know the beats r over priced but I just want to know which would sound better for rap

With your choice of music, and the thumpity-thump of hip-hop, it implies some really good closed cans are in order.

XB500 is has mad bass compared to the beats.
And since Rap beats rely on punchy, yet strong bass, the XB500 probably wins.
