My ATH AD 700s are falling apart and the erapads are starting to rip up. I've been using them for about 2 years and I haven't found any headphones better than it for around the same price. Any suggestions on <200$ open air headphones that are designed to feel super light, and with same or better audio quality ad the ATHAD700s. I kind of want to get the ATHAD900s but I don't really want to drop 300 dollars on a pair of headphones..

I don't know.... for me, the AD700 was pretty hard to upgrade from - they are still my favorite unamped headphone to use. The replacement I found for them are the K702, but that's above your price range (new), and requires a good headphone amp. Your best bet would be anther pair of AD700s....or the AD900 like you said!

German Maestro 435 or 400?  They might give you exactly what you're looking for.
