Onkyo DP-CMX1 GRANBEAT | Dual Dac | Balanced | Phone DAP

:P

If only that were the case.. In my country, South Africa, the dual-SIM/dual-standby version of the S7 Edge is not available (unless it's a grey import), and I desperately need a dual-SIM phone...
The DP-CMX 1 gives me that...

...and a HUGE PLUS; the 3.5mm jack allows for a earphone with mic, so I can make and take calls, whilst listening to music.

Do think I would need to carry 2 battery-packs/portable charges tho

I only carry one portable charger 5000mah for my dpx1 and htc m9 phone.

Thanks bud... Good to know.

I'm a bit of a heavy portable music listener and smart phone user.. and am usually tethering my mobile data to my PC or notebook.
I have a 10,000mAh portable charger, so I should be golden.

Only need the Onkyo DP-CMX1 GRANBEAT now.

Suppose it depends on what you want @toears

For me it's a choice between:

A more than adequately spec'd smartphone sharing a case with an amazing DAP, allowing you to take & make calls in-between listening to sweet tunes in awesome in awesome quality, with amazing battery life...

Or a bleeding edge smartphone, with a super powerful CPU that drains equally super fast, whilst the only major benefit you really gain is ability to crush candy faster, as the convenience of the the fingerprint unlock & wireless charging it provides doesn't come close to the massive inconvenience of swapping devices, etc. between your DAP and the phone, when you finally notice the 7 missed calls and 20 msgs.

I certainly hope that there's an android-wear app for Tidal.. as I will definitely be taking advanced of the dual-SIM set-up and the MQA playback the Onkyo DP-CMX1 GRANBEAT provides for streaming music EVERYWHERE!

I mentioned this elsewhere, but worth mentioning here as well... All I would need, after getting the Onkyo DP-CMX1 GRANBEAT, is an app that allows me to listen in via the mobile phone's MIC... Then I'll NEVER remove my IEM's

You better go with the distributors 12:am 3/31 date just to be safe. ONKYO could be releasing units for official review or their gold star VIP clients.
e-earphone would look dumb to announce a midnight release if Fujiya Avic or someone else already was selling it.

Who knows?
