no idea which review is this considering that there are not many. I love it with the HD800S.

Thank you @Kiats . I have greatly enjoyed your posts on this thread and I admire the quality of your photographs. Are there any headphones in your collection which are disappointing on the miracle?
:)

Frankly, not thus far I listen to both the Utopias, HD800S, sony z1R, MySphere 3.1 and 3.2, HE6, HE5LE, Empyrean, Stella. These I have on my bedside rig. :)

Thanks for that. I concur with your view that there is dry, unforgiving equipment on the market, which I also find hard to live with. I have a highly rated headphone preamp which has frustrated me for 2 years because I can rarely thoroughly enjoy any of my many cds using it.
This is the review that set alarm bells ringing( I wonder what music the reviewer listens to?): https://kajetblog.com/onix-miracle/

I can't say that I am very impressed with the hd800s on the miracle. I do not notice much change, or any, in the tuning when altering the voltage. I think the iem Hisenior mega 5 est performs to a much higher level on the machine and they are half the price of the sennheiser. I fear the review quoted above hit the nail on the head. Its a pity I did not see this review prior to purchase, and I state again that I feel that the Onix miracle advertising is not honest, or perhaps I should say grossly misleading, and I am surprised by a comment made by @Shanling regarding the hd 800s. Perhaps things will change, after all I have only had the miracle for 2 days.
I think the hd800s are a difficult load and I suspect the miracle is underpowered, as indeed are a lot of headphone amps on the market.
The hifiman Arya stealth sound more at home with the miracle, I suggest Onix put this, instead of the hd800, on their brochure.
P. S. see my post below re burn-in on the miracle

Sorry that you are not enjoying the Miracle with the HD800S thus far. It actually pushes out 5.6W at 32ohm. There is another review by the way: https://www.headfonia.com/onix-miracle-review/
Thanks for the heads-up @Kiats . I have read this review - if you read the comments below the review you will see I have written about the reviewers lack of accuracy lol.
I am listening to the miracle as I write this and it sounds nice with the arya stealth.
There is an interesting post somewhere on the web recommending amps for the hd800s and all the amps in the top 10 or 12 purchases were tube amps. The top rated solid state amp was the mjolnir 3, which schiit, in their wisdom, do not retail in this country. I asked about the m3 at the last canjam London, and someone told me the amp was rubbish
One warning (take note @Shanling )that should be softwared into the miracle, as it is on the fiio m17, is for the user to be careful when running through the output options, as it is easy to try to switch between headphone mode and pre-amp mode and find oneself triggering the line out mode which delivers full volume to the power amp lol. I was so shocked when this happened that it took me a little while to realise what was going on! I could tell by the smell that my proacs drivers had nearly blown!! So make sure there is no signal when you are switching from headphone mode to line out mode.
Happy listening.

Headphone / Amp pairing can be highly subjective, especially on a bit divisive headphones such as HD800/HD800s.

We find their pairing to work perfectly fine.

Sorry to hear you don't find this pairing to your liking.

Noted on the output switch.

Thanks for the comment @Shanling . The hd800s takes no prisoners. It seems to me that miracle takes some time to run in, and it certainly needs a few hours to reach optimum operating temperature. I am sure the unit sounds better now, after four days of use, than it did after two. Unfortunately I have seen no reference to burn in, for miracle, on the internet.
So I am more optimistic now about the Onix/Sennheiser pairing than I was on earlier posts. I will comment later if I notice further improvement in the sound.

I am now listening to Miles Davis' Jack Johnson cd on project rs2t through holo spring 3 kte dac to miracle on hisenior mega 5 est iem - I didn't know cds could sound so good!
I was listening to hd800s until late last night on the same set up and it was doing my head in - lack of air and transparency, not a great dynamic range, the leading edges lacked definition: it just sounded wrong.
Just my subjective point of view but valid none the less.
If I could find something that sounded better than the hiseniors I would be in seventh heaven.:)

Hi all. I am pleased to say the Miracle seems to have calmed down a bit in the last month because the hd800s is now sounding half decent on the machine. Has anyone noticed a longish run-in period with the Miracle?
It's nice to get some good news for a change.
Happy listening.

Hello @Shanling . I would be grateful if you could give me advice on how best to use the Shanling cr60, as a cd ripper, with the Onix Mircle.
Thanks in anticipation
For CD Ripping, easiest way would be to run it directly to XM10 and use ripping function in Eddict player app.

I've been using Miracle for the last few days. I have definitely found that it has much better synergy with planars than DD's. My John Massaria XTC 2 sounds very MEH on it. And this headphone sounds incredible with everything. (Now that the Miracle is warm it sounds better)My Arya V2 sounds absolutely amazing on it. OG Susvara sounds awesome on it. DCA Expanse sounds fabulous on it.

Also, I am really surprised how well it handles IEMs. Joma Nautilus is a revelation on this puppy. The DAP sounds awesome too, but the battery is reaallllll bad on high gain. I'm getting like two hours. It sounds very similar to the M9 to me. Very solid.

Overall I love the thing.
