Anyone want me to bring along the little Millett Starving Student? Unlike it's bigger, larger brother it doesn't take up much space.

Nate, you are bringing that to the meet right? It looks like a proto of the new SSMH PCB... Read alot about them and would like to hear a SSMH.

BTW, I'll be bringing CTHs along, it'd be cool if these 2 of the newest of the small DIY hybrids could be there...

Yup, either that amp or my original point-to-point SSMH will be there.

I'm looking forward to hearing these DIY amps, but if I really like them is someone going to build one for me?

Just talk to me at the meet, I don't think that I have much use for the proto SSMH.

WRT the CTH, although we're pegging it as an "intermediate level" project, anyone handy w/a soldering iron, that has some experience & is resonably careful could be expected to build it.
After giving it a listen if you are interested maybe post to its kit announcement thread, or perhaps contact one of the known builders around here. Anyone owe you a favor

I am banned from using a soldering iron in seven states, including New York. I don't want to violate my parole.

My one attempt at building an amp actually resulted in a working circuit, but had some nasty distortion with low impedence cans; and the solder joints, while not really illegal, were an insult to the entire DIY community.

It's actually something I think I can do with practice if I had the time, but with two little ones and working most of the time, I can't even clean my basement so I can have a shop to build an amp.

I do have some favors owed but I don't think calling in any of those is going to get me an amp.

In any event, I am getting very anxious for this meet. It should be awesome!

Yes, I'll have your cable with me. Also I am working on a new detachable connection system mod that I will bring 2 examples of. A pair of Ultrasone Pro 900 and HFI 2200. With a Black Dragon, Silver Dragon and Blue Dragon detachable cable that can be used with each phone. The system will allow you to be able to change cables from a portable to an at home single ended or balanced cable.

Drew will hopefully be bringing a silver dragon cable for my HD650's to the meet - though it will be 4-pin terminated

I'm glad you broke the bad news. I talked to John last week. Was hoping to have a pair with our Black Dragon cable for the meet, but not going to happen

My wish list consists of the Amphora and the obvious entries (HD800's/PS1000's).

Oh well, at least that still leaves the Amphora, right?

I'll come with a friend. I'd like to hear some DACs since I'm looking to buy one.

I don't really have anything interesting but if nobody is bringing a Little Dot III I can bring mine.

We're going to need a Velvet Rope line with a bouncer and we still need to lock down when we are officially having the 2 hour "Zen-Time".
