That was a great meet up. My first one. This is gonna be my second one. Anyone know if that guy with the Smyth Realizer is coming back? I gotta try it. If people wanna start with any requests or things they are planning to bring I'm gonna start compiling a list from the previous pages on my post (post #3) so people can get an idea of what they might wanna bring or what they'll be seeing there.

I am planning on bringing my portable rig...the modded iPod Video, cMoyBB, modded Grado's with the v4 Magnums and hi tech dampening tape from Japan, Heir 4Ai's, and these Royale's I'm playing with now. It's crazy that the Royale's sound as good as they do. I'd never wear them out though...lol. I really want to try to find a good affordable amp/dac for my pc rig...figure this will be the best place to try out lots of different setups and cans...AND meet all you guys!

Anyone been to the NY audio show before?  Is it worth getting a 2-day pass vs. a 1-day pass?  Not sure how large this event is and if I'll be able to cover everything in one day.

I don't think my attendance in the early 1980s permits me to have an opinion any more.  :p  But with that caveat, at that time, no I didn't need it.

Last year the show was small, you could cover everything in 1 day,but I could see going back the 2nd day to get another listen to systems that interest you .
I should be going on Sunday.
