Hey, I just figured out how to hook my Sennheiser HDVD 800 DAC/amp to my laptop PC USB port (I normally run it from a desktop).
 
I could bring the HD800 headphones and this wonderfully-matched HDVD800 amp, paired by Sennheiser to make their headphones shine.  Source would be the laptop USB digital out.
 
And of course the two are not only matched electrically, but also colorfully... see them in my avatar and in my (matching) FIAT 500 Abarth, which I will be bringing as well.

Will do!  NOW I'll need one plug (other stuff was all battery powered) for the HDVD800... bringing a strip!

Sure would... one thing I haven't gotten for my 6-week-old Sennheiser pair is a balanced cable... I have the Sennheiser single-ended that it comes with and plan to buy the Sennheiser balanced in a bit.
