Ocharaku 音茶楽 thread

I swear to God, Ocharaku needs to hire one reviewer to review all the models and create a good english language breakdown. :)

They need an English copy writer for sure. They are a small company. And hiring a reviewer always has problems - especially for one's own image, and for potential customers. But my English skillz are lax recently. Apologies all around.

I don't think it matters too much to them for product sales as they usually sell out in pre order phase very quickly.

instead of reviewer, frequency response chart would be better. I wish all manufacture do frequency response chart of their headphone/iem, make it easier for us to blind buy.

Interesting point. That, too, is quite an investment in time (the learning involved is very intensive) and equipment for such a small company, but I agree.

just a roughly estimate like ortofon did with their iem is fine, they dont have to invest much (i think). That should be much better than reading all the "organic, lush, timbre,....". I really appreciate all the reviewers, but they'r getting more and more ridiculed with the glossary.

Oh, I agree wholeheartedly. I just don't see them publishing those numbers. I'm sure they take measurements (everyone does), but it may not be on systems that make much sense to us, or they could use completely different smoothing algorithms. I'd love for an industry-wide publisc standard measure but that won't happen.

I know, I believe I am with my donguri-raku (the cheapest one) one of only a few people with ocharaku in my country. Ordered directly from Japan by means of a mail forwarding company.

they are worth the headache to get ahold of. Truly an important purchase in my head-fi history.
