I don’t have the player but have been looking at this one and the Surfans F28. They look similar and there seems to be more out there on the Surfans brand in general but the F28 is like $120 even on a “Black Friday” sale.

Yes i am in the U.S. I’m attaching a picture of what I mean by the coupon. I’ve watched both players for a while and the lowest I’ve seen the Phinistec is around $120. Reviews I’ve seen and pictures look like they are running the same operating system and menus look the same from what I can tell.

Just checked on Baidu, only 2 files: the txt file with FW upgrade instructions, and the pdf user manual (both in Chinese). No FW file (Z5 app.bin) yet.

Any links to the pdf manual? Also you know how to get to the menus to see the music folders etc? its different than the z4 so far
