Penon has the new one in stock. Mine is shipping today.

Penon Audio is amazing! With Hong Kong Post Air Mail to Canada, my package (ear buds) came in 14 days! Secure and Registered because they need a signature.

60 Days later I'm still waiting for my package from Monk+. I think someone may have stole it. :frowning2:

Is that much too much for the Aigo 108? He's paying $70 in UK dollars, is that much more than $120 in Canadian? That is a really high price for a player. Is it really that good?

Need to always check both versions from anywhere that you can get them to see what is your best deal. That is not necessarily the least amount of $.

So, now that I have collected a few good budget earphones, I am now looking for a budget DAP
normal_smile .gif
I am planning to use only iems and headphones like HD598 with my DAP so I am guessing that I may not need a DAP that can drive hard-to-drive headphones.

I have no clue about any of the various models mentioned in this thread, but I am wondering at a $50 price point, do any of these DAPs really have a better SQ than something like a SanDisk Clip+? I know that more expensive DAPs, above $100 price range, have good DAC & amps, but do budget DAPs at $50 price range have a good SQ too?

PS: I am very interested in Mrobo C5 version 2 because of the low price and excellent battery life, though I wish it had bluetooth capability too. Waiting eagerly for a review!

Wow, that price is insane! Let us know if you decide to try it.

Digging around it appears to be a rather bit of an older design than I expected and the few things I can find make it seem rather pedestrian. Think I'll pass.

As far as a <$50 DAP I'd go with a Colorfly C3:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I have just ordered 3 sub $30 DAP's and can't even remember which ones outside the Benjie 5 (recently gave mine to a musicless buddy) and I already have the Mrobo and love it with all those bassy KZ's:smile:

just dropping in to bore everyone with how amazed i am with my newly acquired AGPtek H1. been playing with it almost constantly for 24 hours.

i dont have an enormous range of DAPs but this is hands down winner in SQ dept. i'm hearing details that have only been hinted at before. instrument placement is very very precise. very immersive soundstage, beats Colorfly c3 and xDuoo X3 for my ears. and defo no need for external amp. its very powerful .

this unit needs more recognition for sure .

How is it compare to sandisk sansa or colorfly c3?

I am interested in Mrobo too. Do you have the new version (version 2.0)? And is it an improvement over SanDisk Clip as far as SQ is considered?

I have KZ ZS3, KZ ZST, HD 598 and planning to get MEMT X5 soon. I mainly listen to chillout trance, trap music etc and like good bass and less bright sound signature. Do you think Mrobo is a good option for me at $50?

its better. to my ears its a little box of magic, a very detailed and 3d holographic experience . I cannot enthuse enough about it. much more so than the Colorfly, which I often thought sounded a bit thin even with amp added. the Sansa Clips sound a little congested to my ears these days.

I have just spent several months listening to the Pink Floyd Early Years box set and I am going to have to listen to it all over again because I am hearing details that were only hinted at before. guitars sound amazing on this thing.
