yeh rebranded, i really liked the look of this thing but only one other headfi'er i know had a Benjie T1 and he said he preferred the S5

None that I know of. I do know the V2 has had some actual hardware changes. It no longer has any onboard memory so the V2 could be an entirely different beast.

That seems like a really good price for this DAP. Actually I can see 3 different stores all around the $40 mark. Great/terrible time for DAP addicts!
