Are you saying it only plays mp3 and not other formats like flac and dsd etc?

Absolutely not, I mean only mp3 not ogg, wma or mpc but all the lossless formats like flac, ape it plays without a problem.

Its sound signature is analog like, warm and midcentric.

Ah that's interesting. I think I would like it.

It has a good imaging and layering, soundstage is not that wide but deep, so vocals sound sweet and intimate. However, it is picky about earphones, from all mine it sounds the best with earbuds TY HI-Z 32 (donut foams) and **** PT15 (thicker full foams), with my hybrids KZ ZST and KINERA BD005 the synergy is not as good as they should sound.

Possible, but a lot of times Amazon will refuse to ship things here. Then there's the whole duties, exchange and whatnot

Hmmm, I order from the UK Amazon site a lot, once in a while from other country Amazon sites and haven't had a problem shipping to the U.S. Used to buy PC parts from Canadian vendors when the exchange rate made it worthwhile but haven't in a while so maybe something changed?

Oh wow, 10 hours battery is a deal breaker for me. If that's accurate then I'm likely to pass on this one.

Nothing has changed, you import to the US and Mr Trev import to Canada. Different countries, different sets of rules....
