I'd like to put in my vote for a second impression of the ATH-CM3 buds Jahn is bringing, especially by someone who has heard the ATH-CM7 or ATH-CM7Ti (which are the top-end ATH buds).

ARGH the wife found a cheap tix to go visit the in laws in ohio, she just flew out with the kid (kids fly free!) and she took her mini with her! so no go on the buds tomorrow for impressions. man she is REALLY loving this present - i'm going to have to give it another listen when she gets back home.

Of interest to me will be listening to Romanee's K501 tomorrow...the reason being is I just snared some K501s for 1911 for his B-day. No worries folks I just called him as a pre-emptive strike since i know he lurks here like a vulture (yeah you read right, 1911!) - it will be interesting to see what matches up nicely with the K501 so I can properly tempt 1911 with upgrades...since he passed on the Qualia but still wants a more neutral can than his RS-1 I thought this might be a nice way to ease him into it.
