mine's the older 970HD. yes, it's a DVD player. it also plays HDCD, DVD-A, and SACD

a fantastic universal player, and frankly ive never believed that a supposed "high-end" transport is of importance, so long as the spdif stream is good, and it spins at the right speed

I'm fairly sure you're mistaken there El Dougo, because Monmouth is the only real central NJ. I read it in a book. So nyah.

Ahhh, I lived a long time in NJ, Plainfield, Avon-By-The-Sea, Wall Twp., Dunellen and Flemington. I'm been in NC for the last 14 years but spent 5 years in Kalamazoo before moving here. Enjoy your meet, if I were still there I would defiantly attend. Meets are very cool.

I'm like 10 minutes away from you. Doubt my parents will let me carpool with a 23 year old that they don't even know. Plus, I'd annoy the hell out of you on the ~40min drive.
