Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones

My latest "reaction to high end phones" story:
 
I let one of the guys at work listen to my Senn PX-100 ii thru my iPod.
 
He thought they sounded like $200 phones (he doesn't know much about audio). He was very, very surprised when I told him they were only $90 Cdn.

Lol.  You should have told him they were $200, but you'd sell them to him for only $150

My friend bought $20 dollar Beat Solo Fakes, Sounded like absolute crap. The build is flawless though. Even so, I expected just about everyone to tell they were fakes.
Nope.
 
All of them. Every single person thought they were real.
I wanted to strangle each and every one of them.
