I'm thinking about ordering a savant to see how comfortable CIEM are for me. If I wanted to order a katana next year would I need to send in new impressions or would noble keep my prior one on file? Sorry for the off topic question.

AFAIK Noble does not keep your impressions, you would need to send in new ones.

Thanks for the quick answer.
I was on an audio hiatus for a year. But the year has passed (I think!
), I believe this is a good place to start!

dulce bass is more than a few clicks up on the bass over the savant.
Id say test out our product line. The Django might offer what u are in search of?

Thank you guys.
Just a quick round-up, how many of you have tried changing or already changed the cable for the Savant? If you already changed it, what cable are you using?

I can recommend based on my own experience Linum BaX, Norne Worpal or PlusSound Audio Apolonian. All of them are very nice with Savants.

Just don't forget, if you start experimenting with cables too much, you may loosen the socket and end up with the IEMs falling off the cable. Try to make up your mind and stick with one cable
.
My 2c, I'm very happy with the stock cable.

I do change cables on my all IEM often, but I never experienced such a thing. You?
