Nightjar Singularity

i also used to have LX se (the gold plate LX, JP version), i dont think my LX is bassier than evo, however it does have more intimate presentation than evo
thus it seems to hit harder (as things are more in your face)

either way both LX and evo has more bass quantity than Singularity.

Other recent IEM that comes to mind in term of raw bass qty is Fir Audio especially Xe6 and Kr5, and fatfreq mini (i read that their latest release, scarlett mini, is a bass monster, but i havent heard it myself)
Thanks so much for the recommendations! It seems I have a lot of catching up to do still, I will take a look into the IEMs you suggested.

Hey everyone, hoping to get some insight into the Singularity and how it compares in bass in comparison to other TOTL IEMs known for their bass like Legend X. If someone has heard both these IEMs, which of these two would one say is more bassy in terms of raw quantity. I am looking more for slam and punch than rumble so don't particularly care about sub-bass, more focused on bass drums and guitars having impact.

If there's other TOTL IEMs with a bass heavy signature, I'd appreciate some recommendations as well.
I actually have both of these and the presentation is wildly different. The bass of the legend x I would say has a tighter bass impact. at lower volumes id say it does hit harder than the singularity but in general I find it less distracting to the whole presentation because it sounds tighter. The subbass on the legend X sound super loose to me and like air is just being pushed into you. I find this to actually be enjoyable because its just an insane feeling. The singularity on the other hand (very tip dependent) has a very large sense to its bass hits where they are just shoved right into your face. I think it has more control especially in decay than the legend X but its punch is not as tight (not even a bad thing just preference). Honestly though the appeal to me for the singularity is just that its tonality is so much better than the legend X. Still though I will be keeping both as they have such different presentations where the legend X is more like "*** YOU" and the singularity is like "Enjoy me" haha

Yeah, it seems I'm getting some mixed reviews regarding Legend X. Some prefer it, some prefer the Evo or, it seems the Singularity has some strengths over Legend X as well. I just went screw it and bit the bullet on the Fatfreq Scarlet Minis brought to my attention by Feischmaker. I have never seen a frequency response as outrageous as the one on those; it's certain that the Scarlet is sacrificing the entirety of the mids and treble ranges to output the amount of bass it does but it's not gonna be my main driver IEM anyway, just something I put on when I feel like rattling my skull. Thanks to everyone for all the advice, just gonna wait for the Scarlet to ship now.

I cannot find a review/showcase page for Singularity on Headfi. Can someone please guide me to the review page?

Honestly thats probably the best move if you are literally just looking for bass. This saves you quite a bit of money and you get what you are looking for

I never encountered any pressure buildup issues on Singularity. I think Singularity can easily be the most comfortable iem for longer sessions. It just disappears in your ears with the right eartips.

Awesome thanks. Ear pressure is killer for me. Can't use my SA6 because it's just slightly too annoying after about an hour. Should've known better buying a BA set but I wanted to see what all the hype was about.

It's front vented, so no issue for pressure at all. Just gotta get the right tips for a good fit.

How is ear pressure with the Singularity? I had to resell my Maestro SE because it was impossible for me to wear for longer than an hour or 2 without experiencing comfort issues.
No ear pressure for me at all. While ear pressure is not something I have experienced much, I did (and still do) have the maestro mini, and its one of the few that causes discomfort specifically from pressure build up for me. I have comfort issues from others due to the fit, and the singularity is a little challenging for me, but ultimately I find it one of the more comfortable IEMs I have used. With the right tips I can use them for a few hours without any real discomfort. A full day at work with them in and out of my ears is still a bit challenging though. But not from pressure buildup.

That's a really helpful comparison thank you. Definitely keeping an eye on the Singularity but I'll wait for their Duality or whatever it's called to be announced and reviewed first before I make any moves.
