Me too. I have asked but no-one will tell me yet.

I think there are clues though. If you look at the content transferred to the NW-HD3 it includes album clip art so maybe a colour screen?

I may be totally off, but I swear the other day at Shirokiya (local Japanese department store) I saw this flash player in their display case. It was very, very tiny, and matched Austonia's pics amost exactly. I guess it's time to take a closer look . . . I don't recall Sony making anything that resembles this before.

What are your opinions on the SQ, Build Quality, Usability, etc of the NW-E500?

supposedly sony is making this thing $200 for just 1gb you could buy a 4gb zen micro for that. also it's $150 for a 1/2 gb
