The Register has a report on some Sony 1Gb flash players due for release next month... And they look a bit tasty! Can you say '50 hours playback'? I knew you could...

That's nothing. I used to have a 128mb Sony player that looked exactly like a metal lighter. Even the buttons were placed as to remind you to spark up.
Does anyone remember this player? Forgot the model number...

Not at all. I would have remembered the MS11 as it was pretty popular. The one I am talking about did not have ms expansion and only had lcd with track numbers. It looked class, still the best looking flash player in the world I reckon.
