Woah, that's a hell of a DAP. Rollable op amp, LPF, even changeable DAC module. 2.5mm BAL output? Check. Usable screen? Check. Type C? Check. 32bit/768kHz playback? Check. Native DSD? Check (thanks AKM). Pocketable size? Check. But USB DAC? Can't see so far. Really looking for further replies from the seller.

It has two firmwares. One developed by Rockbox. It also has balanced out. It was developed for two years.

This is a Walnut F2 killer.

I guess zishan is either from walnut or against walnut, as zishans do share similarities with walnuts. T1 is quite similar as walnut v3, but better.

Sadly, there's no Line port on the T1. Unlike walnuts, zishans aren't really capable to act as an AMP. That's why Z1 is the only model that can does that so far, yet the AMP feature is doesn't do well.

But, again, changeable DAC module... I have never seen this kinda circuit design so far, yet ZiShan did it. I hope the implementation works well.

Edit: I do think it's the DSD killer so far...

Did you ever play with the EQ? There’s about 180 EQ settings...I’m about to put a Burson V5i into my Zishan Z1 and Walnut V2S...

What is the conclusion at the end of august in 2019, are there any worthwhile mods for the Z1, I'm actually very happy with the vanilla/default/stock setup. But curious, I'm treble sensitive. If so, which ones?

@Ivan TT Did you ever make the post?

.3 is the latest version isn’t it?

I wish zishan maker release a new firmware for Z1. Atleast fix the cut-off 1 second on track/song. Or add Ogg Vorbis or Opus audio format.
