Jason, when you get a chance, I would appreciate if you could ask the development team for guidance on how to process Open App Service .xapk files that are provided as .zip downloads and come with instructions that state they need to be processed with an .xapk “splitter” app to extract the correct .xapk for the platform/device. Now, not only is Spotify provided as a .zip, but also SoundCloud, so it seems the trend is that more downloads may be provided in that format. Thank you.

Hi everyone
I had my AkSP1000 for quite sometime already, but I noticed 2 odd things happening to it recently.

1. When I press settings, the unit freeze, and then a dialog box appears - "Settings isn't responding. Do you want to close it?"
After pressing ok, and did the same thing again.. settings work as per normal.

2. When I turn the unit's Wi-Fi on, the AK sometimes restart for no apparent reason.

Anybody has similar issues with their AKSP1000?
I did a factory reset, but these issues still persist. If U did, is there any workaround? or do I have to send the unit in for repairs?

what firmwar is ? you must doing a reset option 3 un setting

Try to downgrade to 1.41 (you must find tutorial) and after re upgrade to 1.52CM

Reason: all top model (S and N) of samsung phones support Ldac, aptxhd, Aac... etc

I found out how to downgrade firmware, after scrolling through this thread. Anyone knows where I can download firmware 1.41CN? I see only wireless transfers only.

The ZX507 downsamples tidal masters and other hi res streaming services and it’s not able to output the full sample rate via either output. That’s a dealbreaker for me, the ibasso dx220 and Cayin n6ii are able to overcome this with their implementation so I’m surprised Sony isn’t able to.

Fair enough. For me though, I personally feel that streaming and high res are oxymorons, for local files sure, pump up the resolution, enjoy the small difference, but in my opinion anyone hearing a difference between streamed 16/44 and higher res is just enjoying placebo.

Hmm debatable, I can hear a difference through my gear personally and have blind tested 2 different sample rates of the same track to test this. But if you can’t that’s great!

Wait! I think I got it.


1. Download "XAPK Installer" from PureAPK
2. Put the XAPK Installer and the Tidal XAPK file in the OpenService directory.
3. Run XAPK Installer in the Services tab.
4. Use it to update Tidal.

Running on 2.22.0 now over here

houla !!!! when looking at the screen of your computer, I'm wondering if your music is identically organized in your DAP ! if so, may be that is why it is not possible for you to copy past the XAPK
