In minim server I managed to get my albums presented chronologilly while streaming on the A&K, in Artist-mode. For music on your A&K, in my music library there is a folder for every Artist, in this folder there is a folder for every album named: [release year-album name].
when you put this structure on your A&K memory, in folder mode you get what you want.

I’m well aware of the current global situation but I mean it’s been pretty delayed even before the pandemic. That’s what I’d like to know if possible. So just pretend I’m asking this before the coronavirus.

Yup, I recently purchase a lifetime sub for Roon, I’ve been watching this thread for years now. AK gone silent on the whole Roon ready feature to their daps. Jason hasn’t said much of Anything regarding this which is sad. I’d love to see my SP1000 have Roon oh well.

I have never experienced that but if that happens again I would backup playlist files, remove the micro sd card and do a system reset.

By the way guys, what album art size do you usually tag into your music on the SP1000? Is there any advantage of resizing everything to match the native resolution of the SP1000? Would it help load the art faster in albums view?

I read somewhere that the basic problem was that AK runs on Android 6 and it is not possible to implement Roon in such an old version of Android.

There are 2-3 previous cases with this issue. You will need to reach out to their support for a hardware fix.

I get this on mine. I noticed when my SP1000 was in a cold room from the winter months it would do this. If kept in a warm room it was fine. I never noticed this on my AK240.
