The SE100 has the best size usability wise imo, but it's surely lacking the golden touch besides having the better dac for golden ears

Not going into sound department I think AK devices have the best user interface. Like every time
I add the new songs they show up on recently added song list. I find this feature extremely helpful in locating
the new songs I just uploaded to listen. On N8 I have to create another folder for new songs and later
remove and rescan which is a pain.

I requested Cayin to add this feature but they basically told me to buzz off as it is not important. Dont believe they will bother.

Subtle but there. SE100 was good and was perfect for a Youtuber. This is a tad more warm.

I think this Gold unit with the same stuff as the SE100 pretty much actually sounds more lively which means I can enjoy it more. Nice bonus to looking beautiful

How do you compare sound-wise SP1000M Gold with SP1000 CU\SS? Is SP1000 still the flagship model compared with M? I'm about to buy one and debating which one I should get to get best experience for a money.
