Yes, but I also did same with my A105, ZX507 & WM1AM2 Japanese reviews and they were published OK.

No stock on Amazon but managed to get the Z version from Sony website direct and as with the ZX507 and A107 the EU/UK versions has been crippled reducing maximum volume level and removal of High Gain option. An absolutely beautiful DAP with great battery life compared to the poor level of the ZX507, but ruined by volume cap.​

4/5/22 I updated from a 2* to a 3* as those with low power IEM's will find EU capped version still has enough power. Import from outside EU and the 1ZM2 is a 4* and the 1AM2 would be 5* for me. The massive cost premium over the A drops the Z 1* for me and 500g vs 300g weight.​

Did you not like the cabled version I linked to on Amazon UK? There are some others.

Is there any risk of this damaging the Sony? Just super careful with this kind of cable.

That's because people don't realise what they are buying and think its a 4.4mm to 3.5mm (TRS) adapter I think.

I use mine no problem.

Only have Spotify app on at minute but sat here live streaming over my WIFI and no interference at all, even with my phone next to it.

I then just swapped over the the 3.5mm TRRS to 4.4mm 'balanced' cable and again, no interference.

Normal 3.5mm a Sony cable, other a 4.4mm Fiiio with the TRRS balanced adapter. (Shure SE846's).

Interestingly I need to be about 8-10 volume steps higher in Spotify vs Walkman App (was same with WM1AM2).
