Looks like it is the card that is not being read by the player.

I tried all the formats exfat ntfs fat 32 but the dap seems not to read it. It’s just a 64gb card.

If you have not already, create a folder on the card called music, then drag and drop the folders with the albums in into that. The sony should then see it. If it doesn't, then grab another card of any size and repeat the process. If THAT card reads it you know this one is faulty. One last thing to try if both of those fail is to use the sony itself to format the card, and then repeat the process with the music folder.

On the device settings it says no sd card mounted.

Right try a reboot, and then reinsert the card and follow the steps above. If that doesn't work it's possible the mp3 player is faulty (is it new?).

Thanks for the help. Just a quick question before I sleep as it’s night time here in our place. Does the led indicator inside the card slot light up if there is a card inserted?

Mine does seem to only blink once after I insert the card then it’s gone. I bought this dap used from a friend.

Tomorrow I will also try a different card and see how it goes.

Thanks for all the responses.

Just an update to my sd card case. Looks like it was my 64gb who’s got a problem. My 16gb card was read perfectly. Now to figure out how to fix my 64gb.
