I am confused by the FR plot though. Bass is down by 5 db and multiple treble peaks even more pronounced than the stock. Is this real??

If I am to trust these plots, these pads would be torture device .

It's great that you post FR charts that Show stock and the new ear pads.
However, the FR changes themself look painfull. Even brighter and even bigger lack of Bass than the HD800 had to begin with

No offence but who on earth would use these pads? Why releasing pads that reduces a lot of bass of an already bass light headphones and introduces some nasty peaks in the highs?

And where is the 5.8khz peak in the stock measurement? I'm a bit confused.

I had the Dekoni pads for my HD820 and they provided a more consistent fit and evened our some of the excess upper bass.
