@RCBinTN - If you go here (same link that MrWalkman posted) and download the cert with the button marked "Download", you can then navigate to wherever you saved it (I did it on my desktop). Double-click the cert, and it should install on your Mac.

I'd then restart your Mac again (Sorry, sir.), and then it should work. I'm not able to exactly test it since my Chrome is already updated (and I'm on Big Sur).

There's not much to add. When you double click the downloaded certificate, it will open Keychain Access and give you a small window asking to which keychain you want to add the certificate. Choose X509 and click "OK". It may ask for your password to complete the process.

I'm not a Mac user, nor do I have access to one at the moment, but according to their docs, that should be roughly the process to expect.

Please let me know how it goes. I was about to run home and grab my wife's laptop to test as it's the oldest laptop I have access to, but its on High Sierra.

You could also use Firefox for a while, if it runs on Mac. It seems it uses its own list of certificates, so it's up to date.

Do y'all know the sequence of OSX past El Capitan? I would just want to move one or two if possible ... thanks.

It might take a while to complete, but I'd strongly suggest going to Catalina (v10.15). It's currently the oldest macOS version that's still receiving support updates. Older versions pose a security risk.

All right - thanks very much. It is not easy to decide which OSX to install, so this helps a lot.

You may not have a choice @RCBinTN.

For one of my older MacBook Pros (Mid-2012), the latest version of MacOS it can support is Catalina, which also happens to be the oldest version of MacOS still receiving support. If you are in a similar circumstance - and judging by the fact that you are running El Capitan I find that very likely - then Catalina is your only option.
