Be happy - some of us are still waiting for Hollywood to get off it's collective butt and make the film adaptation of Justin Cronin's The Passage. We're also waiting for the third book in his Passage trilogy, The City of Mirrors. Gotta love an industry that can churn out sequel after sequel of LOTR, Fast&Furious and the Twilight series whilst ignore the apocalyptic epic of our time. Whether they'll be able to find a child actress who can convince us that a 6-year old girl holds the future of humanity in her hands is a tough ask, but Cronin did it on the pages of his novel. October 8 still seems so very far away ...
