New RHA IEMs: The MA750i and MA600i

Tough T.R.A.N.C.E. Depends on your sound signature preference. The Ma750 sound excellent with the DX50 though. Will probably give the leas amount of fit issues.  All three are great. For me, sound quality is>> M200 >>> DN-1000 >>>> MA750.

I seem to enjoy classic v shape sound like Bmm Tsss, i like bass with impact, slam, weight, authority, but also texture and timbre. And I need treble to have a little sizzle/sparkle/edge not enough to make it sibilant, but not too little to be smooth. for Mids I prefer a smooth sound over edgy/upfront and forward mids. At a guess would probably think the DN-1000 to be closest to this, but really want to like the MA750, they just look so STEEL

The bad: They are heavy and the weight is causing them to fall out of my ears.
 
The ugly: Would it kill these guys to clearly identify right from left? I had to use a lighted magnifying lens to find the tiny "L" and "R."
Same goes for the plus and minus signs on the remote.

On Emmylou Harris' "The Pearl," the 750i seems to have a fuller, more detailed sound than the RE 400, my other current tryout. The SQ really is top drawer.
 
Re the remote control: I am still struggling to use it and wish that I had saved $10 and ordered the model without remote control.

Hallelujah!  I wish every manufacturer would mark right and left properly.  It's become a serious pet peeve of mine.

Hmm. For me, heavy is not great, and falling out of my ears is not great. Thanks for the input.

These are not heavy imo. They dont fall out when worn. They are more weighty than your avg plastic housing but I have had zero comfort issues with them when used outdoors. If anything I appreciate the solidness.

Hmm. For me, not heavy is great. And not falling out when worn is great! Seriously, I'm glad you chipped in - I was trying to find some reasons not to go for the MA750. Denied lol!

How are these gonna fall out when they are over ear.? The only way you can wear them. The answer is they don't. You have to physically remove them and when you do they just hang next to your ear. (Which is very convenient when your ordering Starbucks)..These are my outdoor iems. The housing has somewhat of a low profile when worn so wind noise is at a minimal. The only way I can see these possibly falling out is if you wear them straight down. Which you can't so that is a non issue.

D'oh! Thanks for pointing out the obvious Ds (I forgot that they are over ears). And yes, the Starbucks angle is quite important

I suppose you could sleep using them. They certainly have a build that can take it if they get yanked or crushed while sleeping. They don't fall out for me at all. I was walking around last weekend in Boulder CO and the wind was blowing all over the place and not once did these pop out or was about to pop out..They fit 100% securely for me. You just got to use the right tips. Which is another huge win on these earphones. The tips they provide are excellent and even provide some Comply like foams that are just as good as Complys if not better then them and they help isolate even more so. I think other manufacturers need to take a page out of what the RHA folks did with this package. They make it so you have nothing to complain about. Nice sound, nice build, nice tips, nice pouch. All of it is just very nice.
 
On an interesting note. I think so far these have a 100% like for every single person that owns one..That is saying something. Though I am waiting for the first person to go off saying these are terrible. It will happen. But so far so good..The truth is these are great..

I'm not complaining about their sound yet as I've only had them for a day, but I do have a serious fit problem with these. Yes they supply a lot of tips but still I can't get any to fit me as it should. For the moment I have a normal one on the left and a double one on the right, but they do lose the seal regularly and the SQ drops huge. I do not agree the foam tips are as good, they are much harder and you cant squish them as much as the original ones, I couldn't even get them to fit properly.
 
I do have to admit I have very small ear canals
