I would love to purchase this unit, unfortunately I have no use for it right now!

Feiao, I hope I can clarify the confusion people have.  In America, 90% of amplifiers/speakers advertise their max output rating, followed by RMS.  RMS output is sometimes omitted on the box and very difficult to find.

I think it would help marketing if you put the MAX power output, followed by the RMS output in the specs.  EX: Small desktop AMP with 50w x 2 MAX and 14w x 2 RMS.
This might clear up some confusion people have.  All caused because of marketing tricks by companies that release cheap products.

In fact, A1 is design for auidophile, and a Max Power may be a evident for some other brand or people to attach FiiO! anyway, thanks for your suggest!

I found a pair of small bookshelf speakers that may work very well with the A1:

These Enerby CB-5 speakers are fairly small and have a ported design. You can also convert them to sealed with the supplied port plugs.

Reviews indicate that the bass is fairly good given its size. At $99 a pair including shipping, looks like a good deal.

Still yet to try these with speakers but am loving them so much as an amp for electrostats (through an adapter).

This could be a perfect budget/convenience solution for someone looking at a pair of old school electrostats with speaker amp adapter sets on ebay who doesn't have a speaker amp.

You don't need all the power of a speaker amp to drive stats, the A1 mini speaker amp does a lovely job taking up a minimum of space. Sounds great too.

Damn, waiting to get in on this. Anyone has or could try these with Boston Acoustics CS23s?

These look really good, especially the tweeter. However, they look like sealed speakers - combined with the small woofer, may not have enough bass.

At this price/size range, I think it may be more important to get as much extension as possible while trading off some overall accuracy.
