Can someone confirm if the BD20 works with the Sony WM1A via WM port to USB of the BD20? Mine doesn't. Not sure if it is just due to settings. Thanks.

I am waiting for the ba300s mkii, gotta see how does It perform, but in the meanwhile I bought also a new DAP that perhaps would make the amp a minor upgrade on my rig, hence I am considering in selling It as long as It Is new... If someone Is interested Just PM me, in any case I will put an ad as soon as I receive It!

I own a WM1A at the moment and would upgrade for better sound and power.

My current headphones are Campfire Audio Solaris and Beyerdynamic Amiron Home.

Normally i had the plan just to buy the BA300s. Do you think it is a good idea with my current headphones?

Now i think about to get the BD20 as well but i think for the full potential i also need the BA20?

I can not decide and i cant say how good the WM1A is compared to the BD20 and BA20.

I was running my DT 1990 through the BD20, BA20, and BA300S mk1. I also got the iFi iSilencer in because I was hearing popping sounds from my PC USB. Popping is gone but will have a more extended listening to confirm. But, oh man, the Beyers really sing with this pairing. Will have to compare it with the WM1A direclty as to sound quality, but the power difference is obvious.

Hi guys, is one was to get the Oriolus BA20, what is the ultimate opamp setup for it?
The I/Vs need OPA1612. If you put anything else in there, it will lose transparency. All DACs in the market using 9038 or AKM4499 use OPA1612 for I/V I believe. I think this might be because OPA1612 has the lowest voltage noise.

For LPF, I am current using LME47920.
I have tried Burson V5i, Muses01,02,03, OPA828, OPA1612, AD827SQ, AD797B and a few more

Oops this is BD20.

I am testing 2xLME47920 right now but OPA828 is also very good.
The Transistor Bridge on the Buffer is the best and provides the best power and transparency.

Finally got my BA300s... I'd say my experiment with the R2R2000 is so far intriguing...

How so? Is that the Mk 1?

It Is the mkII.

It seems it does not add colouration but enhances (properly) the scene and the attack/decay of notes.. a bit more aggressive sound too. Nice combo so far with the r2r2k.

Nice effect. Got me real curious.

Edit: Does it make it like more 3D? Like lifting the vocals from the rest?
